Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) called the salamander a bad animal, but I did not hear him ordering it to be killed."
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ
" فُوَيْسِقٌ ". وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ.
